It's been 5 years now. The old times are trully wacky AF. I remember how this OP strat dominated a lot of games. Countering this in Solo Queue if your team was not able to do the strat yourself, requires choosing a Top with global presence and can spike very early like Gangplank or Shen, an excellent roaming mid like TF or Aurelion Sol, and a Support with superb protection, anti Engage or Anti Cc like Morgana and Lulu. Tanky Jungler that can roam like Rammus also made a bit of appearance as a counterpick. It is very difficult to play against but countering it without doing the strat yourself is pretty doable abeit being very unfun.
